About Hutter Racing Engines – Ron Hutter founded Hutter Racing Engines over 35 years ago. The business grew from Ron’s experience and success in the NHRA Modified Eliminator and Pro Stock series.
In 1977 Hutter Racing Engines moved into building engines for the NASCAR Modified series and it was here that Ron teamed up with driver Richie Evans to win 8 national championships. The business continued to grow and eventually moved into the NASCAR Busch Grand National division.
In 1998 and 1999 Dale Earnhardt Jr. won back-to-back national championships powered by Hutter engines. Over the years, we have won 21 NASCAR BUSCH, Truck and Modified championships.
Today, Hutter Racing Engines builds engines for many professional racing series including IHRA Pro-stock, SCCA Speed World Challenge GT and NASCAR Modifieds.
Hutter Performance Center opened its doors in 2003 to meet the growing demand in race cars and street performance.
So whether you are looking for bolt-on power, a complete performance engine, or building a new hot rod or racecar from the ground up, our facilities can meet your needs with experience, and quality craftsmanship.
