Hixson Engines of Gibson City, Illinois (by Butch Hixson) was a long-time engine builder in midwest circles. Their engines graced drivers such as “The Modern Day Cowboy” John Gill and “The Flatland Flash” Kevin Weaver for a number of seasons as well as were fielded by many other competitors.
